“I’m writing my story so that others might see fragments of themselves.” – Lena Waithe

This new year presents businesses with the opportunity to start anew and to do things differently and better. For The Spa in Me, L.L.C., this means no longer offering retreats. Instead, we are returning to our storytelling roots.

We started by writing about spas and wellness destinations to inform our readers about venues they did not typically visit. Some of our readers would contact us to share how they had never visited a spa or traveled to one of the destinations we highlighted. Our stories helped to expand their worldview and to seek services they had not previously considered.

The Spa in Me, L.L.C., is well-prepared to assist industries that are in a dynamic state of flux. We can help spas, wellness tourism, skin care, and botanical industries highlight the successes their B2B and B2C customers achieved by using their products or services. And, our method of writing does not replicate the dry, exhausting, and archaic case study text that no wants to read. Instead, we write with the intent to evoke emotion in the reader that causes a connection with your customer’s challenge and journey. With such compelling engagement, the reader may possibly seek your product or service for a similar resolution. So, if you want to explore a novel method to appeal to your potential customer, write a case study. Or, contact me and I’ll be thrilled to speak with you about our storytelling process.

And, then, there are a significant number of us who may have the opportunity to arrange our schedules to slow down during this time in any number of ways.

Calmness of the Heart

I Have Found Such Joy

by Sandra Foreman February 13, 2021

Have you ever read a poem that stimulates your emotions and memories? It happens quite often to me, and is the one reason I enjoy reading poems that speak about self-love, compassion, kindness, and gratitude. Whenever I’m having an off day, I’ll reach for a poem. In some ways it improves my mood, even if only momentarily. Here is one poem that I hope will bring you some joy, or at least a smile on your face as you read it.
